We welcome walk-ins, but you may have to wait especially on weekends. We highly recommend you to book an appointment in advance. You can either call or email us to book for a consultation. If there is a specific gown that you would like to try, please do ring first and we will let you know if we have the sample gown in your size.
Please do not wear any make-up and wear proper underwear.
Your consultation will go for one hour and we are happy to extend the appointment for additional half an hour if there is no one waiting. Otherwise another subsequent visit will be arranged up on request so you can come back to try more or retry your favourites and discuss further details to get your gown made.
Normally, we keep every design in a size range between 8 and 22. If there is a specific gown you want to try from our website, please check with us whether we have the sample gown in your size, then we will get the dress ready for your appointment. For your information, we always have a lot of new arrivals and unique designs that are not yet updated on our website, so just pop in to have a browse through, which could be a lucky visit for your dream dress hunting.
Not a surprising question, we understand that every bride wants to look her best on her special day. In this case, we will try our best to give you a longer period of time. We still recommend brides to start the process one year prior to the wedding date in order to find out the right design that suits the body shape and the wedding. The workroom will be preparing all the materials and paper patterns according to your first body measurements and get them on hold. Your consultant will discuss with you about the best time for your final body size check. The workroom will start making the dress with the updated order.
It is very likely that your gown will need alterations to ensure a perfect fit. It’s also extremely important that you do not lose too much or gain weight or get pregnant. One appointment will be arranged when the dress arrives in shop to indicate what alterations should be made. You need to arrange your own alterations with a local dressmaker.
50% of the dress value is required as a deposit in order to start the process and the rest of the balance is required to be paid on the first fitting day.
Choosing your wedding gown is a huge event. We understand that the majority of brides have several special people who they want to share the experience with. However, please keep in mind that having too many opinions can be distracting and confusing which is something that you definitely don’t want when looking for your dress. Try to choose 2 or 3 guests who know you and your style very well and whose opinion you trust the most. Please let us know if you are bringing more than 3 people so we can book you in a bigger changing room.
Please keep in mind that this is your special day to find your dream dress and children may distract you. We request you to bring children who are able to remain still for an extended period of time, not only so they do not take attention away from you, but also for safety reasons.
The steam costs $45 and $40 to add hook-up bustle. Please arrange a time and drop off the dress at least 3 working days before you pick it up.
Unfortunately we cannot store customer dresses in our shop. Please ensure you have a cool, dry place to hang your dress. You are welcome to bring your dress back for a final steam before the big day.
